Registration:

To register, first sign in to your CFRA account.

In order to participate at a CFRA event you must be invited (sponsored) by a current member of CFRA, or apply for admission by sending an email request to the Registration Director at registration (at) cfra.net.

CFRA Sizzling Summer Karting Series

Sponsored by Livermore Performance and Lemans Karting

Time

6:30PM to 9:30PM. Karting should be done by 8:30; pizza and social is after.

First Thursday of each month:
Thursday May 1st 2008
Thursday June 5th 2008
Thursday July 3rd 2008
Thursday August 7th 2008

What

Karting, of course! The events will be broken down as follows:

Classes: (weights might vary depending on participation, but will be set at the first event)

classweight
Lightweight< 160 lbs
Middleweight160 - 210 lbs
Heavyweight> 210 lbs

Format:

  • Initial Practice
  • Heat #1
  • Heat #2
  • Semifinal
  • Final

Cost: $50 per event

Everyone will run the Initial Practice, the Heats, and the Semifinal. The top three (maybe four) in each weight class will run in the finals.

There will be medals for first place at each of the 4 events, as well as a $100 gift certificate from Livermore Performance for the overall series winners in each of the three classes.

Immediately following the event we will have pizza and soda available in the Lemans Karting conference room.

The event is open to all CFRA members and to CFRA invited guests, but only members can compete in the finals, score points, or earn medals.

Please RSVP (with an approx weight) with Bill Lackey prior to the events. { email: billlackey (at) livermoreperformance (dot) com } If you don't RSVP you're still welcome, but I can't guarantee food will be available, and it makes planning the event much easier. So please help me out.
