Harris Ranch Accommodations

The official hotel is Harris Ranch. CFRA has a block of rooms starting at $110 per night, for Sunday May 2 and Monday May 3. You should contact Harris Ranch to make reservations in the CFRA block.

Of course, you can stay anywhere you want. Please visit the track's web site for some options near the track, which are considerably less expensive than Harris Ranch. Unfortunately, we can't recommend anything because over time we were consistently unsatisfied with the places we tried. FYI: When driving there from the Bay Area on I-5, the Buttonwillow exit (with the most hotels) is 10 miles beyond the track, and the Lost Hills exit (with only a couple of hotels) is 10 miles before the track. The track is at the Lerdo Highway exit on the west side of I-5.

Pre-Event Dinner

Sunday evening May 2 we have dinner reserved at Harris Ranch at 7:00 PM.

Post-Event Dinner

Monday evening May 3 we have dinner reserved at Harris Ranch at 6:00 PM, so that people who are not staying overnight will not be stuck at dinner too late. Since it takes about an hour to drive from the track to Harris Ranch, if you leave the track by 5:00 PM you should make it on time. If you want time to freshen up in your hotel room you would need to leave a little extra time. At the same time, latecomers are usually accommodated at dinner.

We also have a Tuesday morning May 4 group breakfast reservation at 9:00 AM.

Buttonwillow Testing Day

The issues list voted with sufficient interest to take Buttonwillow Raceway's offer of booking an open testing day on the day following the CFRA event. Please see here for more info as it arrives. The cost is $200 for the day. There are no run groups, just open testing. We will require advance registration and payment, because CFRA is booking the day and is responsible for payment if there are no-shows. Please head over to Event Registration to sign up!
