CFRA Summer 2011 Winery Tour

We are once again going to visit Kunde Winery for an exclusive tour, tasting and lunch up on their beautiful site on Boot Hill. Jeff Kunde has personally told us that he wants our group back for another event. The view from this site is awesome and on the site is an enormous oak tree that provides plenty of shade, an outdoor kitchen and a very large firepit. Tables and linens will be set up for us and a buffet lunch including water and soft drinks will be served along with a private tasting of Kunde's wines. There's plenty of flat space to roam around, hike or lounge under the tree.

CFRA's budget of $850 will not allow us to cover the entire cost of $55 per person. We are going to ask for a charge of approx. $30 per person for every member and member's family who attends. There will be a charge of $55 for each guest that attends. I am going to ask that registration be opened on the website so that I can provide a count for food and determine a definite charge for everyone. Please RSVP no later than August 21st. Once I have a final count, I will post the charge per person.

Date: Sunday, August 28th Special parking will be provided and Kunde is encouraging us to bring a lot of nice cars.
Time: 12pm Noon We will shuttle everyone up the hill to begin the event
Parking is very limited up on the hill, we need 3 or 4 vehicles (either SUV or at least 4 passenger) to help us shuttle people.
Lunch will be served at 12:45.

We will enjoy a fun and relaxing afternoon with our friends up on the hill with music, great food and wine. It doesn't get better than this!
